frustrated with etsy

so...I listed like 3 things on etsy. I should have known...there are like 10,000 aprons listed on there! there are just too many things listed! so I don't think etsy is the way to go to make some extra dinero. if anyone has any ideas...if anyone actually reads this blog...leave a comment!

  1. This is my first time to your blog! It's great!
The pictures are wonderful here and at giddykids!
I'm from Winchester, IN but I lived in Ft. Wayne for a year while I went to business school and worked at St. Joseph's Hospital! I still have friends up there! I'm back in Winchester have been forever it seems! We homeschool and love it! This fall will start our third year! Lilli will be in the 6th grade!
Anyway, I tried etsy and I still have an account with them but nothing on there. I have been trying desperately to find something better! I sold some things but with the shipping I really didn't make anything to speak of! This economy is not the best for selling stuff people can live without so that pretty much does me in!
Sorry I rambled I just wanted to let you know I feel the same way!
    Take care!

  2. I didn't have much luck with etsy either. Maybe I didn't have enough patience. One trick I heard is to list only one item per day. That way they are spread out and you have a better chance of someone seeing each item. (As opposed to posting them all at once and then having them all sink to the bottom together as other people list new things on top of yours.) Good Luck!
